Stirling is one of Scotland’s most historic cities, but one where many of the older properties have been demolished and replaced. This little book takes a fond look back at the royal burgh, with many of the images showing places that are gone. Each photograph is accompanied by a detailed description of the places depicted plus other general history. Not everything in the town has been lost, fortunately, and Stirlingers will recognise much of interest within, kindling various memories of the old town.
